APT Painted is the newest tubular product in the steel industry, providing strength & ductility that meets and exceeds Australian Standard AS/NZS1163:2016.
APT Painted could be produced in Grades up to C450L0 while providing an industry-high Elongation % (24-30%).
Put simply, APT Painted is one of the strongest and most workable products currently in the tubular market. As an end-user, you can be confident that APT Painted will be the right product, however you want to use it.

Manufactured in full compliance with Australian Standard AS1163 which is one of the world’s most advanced standards.
Rolled from steel complying with stringent AS1163 requirements.
Compliance with grade C350L0 or C450L0 requirements of AS1163. L0 ensures that suitability for use in lower temperature requirements and non-brittle behaviour when subjected to dynamic loads
Mechanical properties tested by an independent NATA certified laboratory
Stringent dimensional tolerances specified in AS1163. Tighter tolerances could be achieved subject to agreement at the time of ordering
Compliance with minimum mass per meter requirements which ensures full loading capacity

Product compliance with AS1163 is monitored and confirmed by an independent body: Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels (“ACRS”)-certificate No 161104.
